Symptoms and treatment of ichthyosis
summary
I've been suffering from ichthyosis for a while. I'm fine. When the weather is dry, feet dry peeling is very serious, but also feel itchy, a scratch will take off a layer of skin, and then very painful. Now it's finally cured. Today I'd like to share with you the symptoms and treatment of ichthyosis.
Symptoms and treatment of ichthyosis
Symptom 1: the disease is distributed symmetrically on the extension side of limbs and trunk, especially on the extension side of elbow and knee. Flexion side can also appear, the back of the hand often has hair follicle keratin damage, accompanied by palmoplantar hyperkeratosis. General face, scalp, cubital fossa, armpit, parotid fossa, vulva, and buttock fissure are often not invaded. It is more severe in winter and less severe in summer. Patients often have ectopic constitution, such as hay fever and asthma.
Symptom 2: epidermolysis hyperkeratosis ichthyosis, also known as bullous ichthyosis like erythroderma, is rare in clinic. At birth or a few hours after birth, there are generalized erythema and scales. After the scales fall off, there are red skin all over the body, widely distributed bullae, and there is no scar after the blisters are healed. With the increase of age, blisters and red skin gradually reduced and subsided, manifesting as verrucous hyperkeratosis, especially in elbow fossa, armpit, groin and other flexion and intertrochanteric parts.
Symptom 3: autosomal dominant ichthyosis vulgaris. This type is a common mild ichthyosis. If one or both parents suffer from ichthyosis, there are often patients at home, but there is no gender difference. It often occurs in childhood, and the symptoms are relieved or disappeared in adulthood. The skin lesions were different in severity. The mild cases were only dry in winter, without obvious scales, and there were powdery debris after scratching. In common cases, besides dry skin, gray brown or dark brown rhombic or polygonal scales can be seen, with central fixation and free edge.
matters needing attention
Here I would like to remind you to pay attention to: eat more coarse grains, especially cereals. It has low fat content and high nutritional value. The patients should be given priority to cereal food and have a diversified diet. Clinical studies have found that there are at least 20 different types of ichthyosis, including congenital and acquired. It is estimated that 95% of ichthyosis vulgaris is inherited by autosomal dominant inheritance, that is, about 50% of children will be inherited from their parents.
