summary

Prostate sarcomas develop rapidly and have poor prognosis. Few patients survive more than one year after diagnosis. Almost all rhabdomyosarcomas died within one year, with an average survival of 6.5 months. The prognosis of leiomyosarcoma is better. The average survival time of leiomyosarcoma over 20 years old is 2-3 years, and that of leiomyosarcoma under 20 years old is 2.5 years. What medicine does prostate sarcoma take?

What medicine does prostate sarcoma take

1. Surgical treatment is the best in the early stage. Radical prostatectomy is the first choice for patients who are confined to the prostate capsule without local infiltration. 2. If there is local invasion of bladder, urethra or rectum without distant metastasis, pelvic dissection is feasible. 3. For patients with metastasis or local invasion, palliative operation is feasible to relieve symptoms, including transurethral resection of prostate.

Radiotherapy is an important adjuvant therapy, which can be used before or after operation. Leiomyosarcoma is moderately sensitive, while rhabdomyosarcoma is not suitable for radiotherapy.

Interventional chemotherapy and lymphatic chemotherapy can increase the dose of chemotherapy drugs in tumor tissue, enhance the curative effect and reduce the side effects. Actinomycin D, vincristine, cyclophosphamide and so on have certain curative effect, and have synergistic effect with radiotherapy.
