summary

In a variety of skin diseases, the existence of ichthyosis will also bring unbearable pain to patients. Therefore, this paper introduces the symptoms of ichthyosis in detail, so that we can have a better understanding of ichthyosis.

What are the symptoms of ichthyosis

Symptom 1: epidermolysis hyperkeratosis ichthyosis. Also known as bullous Ichthyoid erythroderma, it is rare in clinic. At birth or a few hours after birth, there are generalized erythema and scales. After the scales fall off, there are red skin all over the body, widely distributed bullae, and there is no scar after the blisters are healed. However, with the increase of the patient's age, the blisters and red skin on the surface of the skin will also appear more and more pale and subside, showing verrucous hyperkeratosis, especially in the elbow, popliteal, axillary, groin and other flexion and rubbing parts.

Symptom 2: lamellar ichthyosis. It is autosomal recessive inheritance, very rare. After birth, the whole body is tightly wrapped by a broad collodion like membrane. After 2-3 weeks, the membrane falls off, and the skin presents extensive and chronic flushing. There are large grayish brown quadrilateral or rhombic scales on the skin. The center is fixed and the edge is free. Symmetry often occurs in the trunk and limbs of the whole body, including the wrinkles. Hyperkeratosis of the palms and soles, with a slow course of disease, can exist for a lifetime. Erythroderma can be alleviated in adulthood, but scales still exist. One third of the patients had severe ectropion.

Symptom 3: circuitous linear ichthyosis. Multiple ring-shaped creeping rashes were found on the trunk and proximal extremities, with thickened and slowly changing keratin margin on the periphery, and lichen formation or hyperkeratosis on the flexor surface of popliteal fossa and cubital fossa. Palmar hyperhidrosis may occur in some cases. In most cases, slubby hair can be seen. Atopic dermatitis often coexists with this disease. With the increase of age, the skin and hair gradually improved, but the skin was still dry and desquamated.
