Causes of nongonococcal urethritis
summary
I always had signs of painful urination before. Because I was not at ease, I went to the hospital for examination. As a result, I suffered from urethritis. Because of the side effects of Western medicine, I tried traditional Chinese medicine. Now I would like to introduce the causes of non gonococcal urethritis
Causes of nongonococcal urethritis
First, Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealyticum are the main pathogens. The former accounts for 40% - 50% and the latter 20% - 30%. Other pathogens such as Trichomonas vaginalis, Candida albicans and herpes simplex virus can also cause nongonococcal urethritis, but the proportion is small. At present, there are at least 15 serotypes of Chlamydia trachomatis, among which only one serotype is related to nongonococcal urethritis, and three serotypes of Chlamydia trachomatis are related to venereal lymphogranuloma.
Second: in sexual contact, male genital tract columnar epithelial cells are very sensitive to Chlamydia trachomatis. Chlamydia trachomatis is a cytophilic parasite. After being swallowed by the host susceptible cells, they proliferate in the cells, form inclusion bodies, and cause inflammatory changes.
Third, Mycoplasma hominis has weak resistance to the external environment. It can be killed at 45 ℃ for 15 minutes. It is sensitive to soap, alcohol, tetracycline and erythromycin, Chlamydia can not only cause urethritis and conjunctivitis, but also cause inflammation of other reproductive organs, such as epididymitis, anterior cleft adenitis, cervicitis, vaginitis, salpingitis and pelvic inflammatory disease. Through the infected birth canal, newborns can induce conjunctivitis, pneumonia, male homosexuals, proctitis and pharyngitis.
matters needing attention
Nonspecific urethritis is also common in young people, like gonorrhea, which is 60% below 25 years old. Since 60s, the incidence rate of non-specific urethritis has increased sharply. In Europe and America, it has exceeded the incidence rate of gonorrhea in the sexually transmitted diseases, and in 80s, the number of new cases in the United States has reached 300-1000.
