summary
I'm a student. Recently something happened that made me very confused. One of my classmates recently appeared a lot of milk coffee spots with different shapes and sizes. A lot of freckles appeared in his whole body and armpit. Later, his parents took him to the hospital for an examination. The examination results showed that he had neurofibroma and needed treatment as soon as possible. But there is one thing we all don't understand. My classmate doesn't have any bad eating habits and bad work and rest habits. Why does he get neurofibroma? What is the cause of neurofibroma?
What is laryngeal neurofibroma?
Laryngeal neurofibroma is not common, mostly single, but also associated with systemic neurofibromatosis. It originates from nerve sheath and consists of involved nerve fibers, collagen fibers and Schwann cells. The symptoms are hoarseness. Dyspnea may occur in patients with large tumor. Laryngoscopy shows round or oval solid tumor with smooth surface and capsule. Surgical resection is the main treatment.
There are many kinds of neurofibroma. The neurofibroma of superficial epidermis nerve is like a bead, which can move and cause pain, tenderness or radiation pain. Plexiform neurofibroma is diffuse neurofibroma of nerve trunk and its branches. This kind of neurofibroma mainly proliferates in skin and subcutaneous tissue.
Patients with neurofibroma will show symptoms in many aspects. When suffering from neurofibroma, the eye also has obvious symptoms. For example, the mass and exophthalmos pulsation can be felt in the orbit, and white tumor can be seen in the fundus of the patient, the optic papilla will protrude forward, and the optic glioma will lead to exophthalmos and loss of vision.
matters needing attention
Neurofibroma is a kind of hereditary disease. Although it can not be completely eradicated in the process of treatment, it will be improved to a certain extent. Therefore, patients with neurofibroma need early detection, early treatment and timely life-long help, which can reduce the pain of patients. Patients' families and doctors need to give patients enough confidence.
