Why is running in shock

summary

A few days ago, my unit organized a sports meeting. One of my colleagues was in shock during running, which scared everyone. Fortunately, there was no danger in the end. Let's share with you why running was in shock.

Why is running in shock

The first reason is that blood is mostly concentrated in the muscles of limbs during strenuous exercise. Due to the strong contraction of limb muscles, a large amount of venous blood will quickly return to the heart, and the heart will send the nutritious arterial blood to the whole body, so the blood circulation is very fast. The heart beat faster. The effective blood beat less. In particular, sudden stop activities. The brain will also appear dizziness, nausea, vomiting, shock and other hypoxic symptoms due to insufficient blood supply from the heart.

The second reason is that when people are running, the lower limb muscles contract and relax tensely, causing a large number of capillaries in the muscles to expand, and the amount of blood flowing through the lower limb muscles is also greatly increased than usual. The lower limb muscles contract and relax rhythmically, squeezing the lower limb blood vessels, helping the lower limb blood flow back to the heart.

The third reason is that if you stop running suddenly, the blood supply to the brain will decrease correspondingly, and the brain will have transient ischemia, and the weak may have dizziness or even shock.

matters needing attention

To prevent shock during running, we must urinate before running, do not stop suddenly during running, do not stand still after running, continue to relax jogging and walking, and gradually transition to normal.
