summary

The cause of cholecystitis is very complex, so many patients do not know how to get the disease, understanding the cause of the disease is very important, not only can help patients better treatment, but also can do the usual prevention work, so what are the causes of cholecystitis disease, the following is a detailed introduction.

What are the causes of cholecystitis

1. The gallbladder is the enlarged part of the end of the cystic duct, which can hold 30-60ml of bile. Bile entering or discharging from the gallbladder must pass through the cystic duct. The length of the cystic duct is about 3-4cm, and the diameter is 2-3mm. The mucosa in the cystic duct forms 5-7 spiral folds, which makes the lumen narrower. In this way, it is easy for gallstones and parasites to embed into the cystic duct. After embedding, the bile in the gallbladder will not be discharged. In this way, the excess bile will accumulate in the gallbladder, stay for a long time and be too concentrated, which will directly stimulate the gallbladder mucosa and cause inflammation.

2. When the outlet of the gallbladder is blocked, the mucous membrane of the gallbladder continues to secrete mucus, which causes the pressure in the gallbladder to increase continuously, causing the gallbladder to expand and accumulate water. As a result, the blood vessels in the gallbladder wall are compressed and become ischemic and necrotic. When the gallbladder is ischemic, the resistance of the gallbladder decreases, and the bacteria are easy to grow and reproduce.

3. Because the gallbladder has the function of storing bile and concentrating bile, the contact time between gallbladder and bile is longer than other bile ducts, and the bile concentration is also high. When there are bacteria in the bile duct, infection will occur, and the chance of forming cholecystitis will increase.
