Vitiligo symptoms

summary

At the beginning, I just found a little white spot in my leg, which didn't attract much attention at that time. I thought it should be caused by vitamin deficiency, so I didn't go to see the doctor. I didn't go to see the doctor until the white spots began to distribute on my limbs. Now I share the doctor's specific classification of vitiligo symptoms, hoping to help patients with vitiligo.

Vitiligo symptoms

One of the specific types of vitiligo symptoms: local type: one or more white spots are limited in one area, but not in segmental distribution; unilateral type (segmental type): one or more white spots are in segmental distribution, suddenly disappear in the midline; mucosal type: only involving the mucosa.

The second specific type of vitiligo symptoms: sporadic type, common type, widespread and scattered white spots; facial acrotype, distributed in the face and limbs; mixed type, segmental type, facial acrotype and / or common type.

The third specific type of vitiligo symptoms: generalized total or almost total depigmentation. More than 90% of vitiligo is sporadic, and the rest of vitiligo is more localized than generalized. According to the depigmentation of the lesion, the disease can be divided into two types: complete type (DOPA negative reaction, melanocytes disappeared, poor response to treatment) and incomplete type (DOPA positive reaction, melanocytes did not disappear, only the number was reduced, the cure rate was high).

matters needing attention

Vitiligo generally has no obvious symptoms of pain and itching. A few patients have local itching before or at the same time. But from the above-mentioned observation of the specific three types, we can also know whether it is suffering from vitiligo. In addition, patients with diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal insufficiency, scleroderma, atopic dermatitis, alopecia areata and other diseases are more likely to suffer from vitiligo, because of the decline of autoimmune function.
