Rabies, also known as hydrophobia, is an acute infectious disease of the central nervous system caused by rabies virus. Rabies virus, feline rhabdovirus, feline rhabdovirus, etc. Dogs must be vaccinated within 24 hours. If you are bitten by a dog again in the first three months after the vaccination, you may not inject the vaccine. If you are bitten by a dog within six months, you may take two injections. If you are bitten by a dog more than six months, you may re inject (adapt to various rabies vaccines).

Some cases are often misdiagnosed as neurosis because of the unclear history of bite. Patients with atypical symptoms may be misdiagnosed as psychosis, tetanus, viral meningitis and leptospirosis. Silent paralysis can be misdiagnosed as poliomyelitis or Guillain Barre syndrome. The latent period of tetanus patients is short, mostly 6-14 days. The common symptoms of tetanus patients are closed teeth, wry smile, long-lasting systemic muscle spasm, often accompanied by arcuate. The muscle spasm of rabies occurred intermittently, mainly in pharyngeal muscle. Tetanus patients have no high excitement and fear of water phenomenon, active treatment can be cured.

Severe mental changes (coma, etc.), meningeal irritation, cerebrospinal fluid changes and clinical outcomes are helpful to differentiate the disease from nervous system diseases such as viral meningitis. The detection of immunological antigen, antibody and virus isolation can make a definite diagnosis.
