I'm an athlete, so I can't avoid some professional training. Maybe it's because the intensity of training is strong, so I suffer from synovitis, which is a common disease. Now I will introduce what is synovitis.

What is synovitis

First, the knee joint is the most synovial joint in the whole body, so synovitis is more common in the knee. When the knee joint is directly hit by violence, long-term load-bearing, chronic strain, indirect knee sprain, injury in the operation process, severe sports activities or super intensity training, incorrect habitual movements, joint degeneration, knee joint reflexes, and even improper wearing of shoes can be caused.

Second: the injured synovium suffered from injury, congestion and swelling of synovium. Synovial cells were active and produced a large amount of effusion, including plasma, leukocytes and phagocytes. Normal joint synovial fluid is alkaline fluid. Due to the increased exudation after injury, acidic products accumulate in the joint, and the synovial fluid becomes acidic, which promotes cellulose precipitation. If the effusion is not removed in time, the joint synovial membrane will have a long-term inflammatory stimulation reaction, which will gradually thicken the synovial membrane, and have fibrous organization, causing adhesion and affecting the normal activities of the joint.

Third: synovial cells secrete fluid, which can lubricate and nourish the joints. The heat energy generated by the knee joint during body movement depends on synovial fluid and its blood circulation. When the joint is affected by external and internal factors, the synovium reacts, causing congestion or edema, and exudates fluid, showing joint swelling, pain and dysfunction. It can also be said that if there is effusion in the joint cavity, there will be synovitis.
